Hello World! And welcome to Loading Thoughts. I write about anything. It could be about my day at home, at work, something I observed, or the weather. I’m a middle-aged guy rambling on about who knows what. Come along on this journey and grab some popcorn or some other snack. (If you have enough to share, that’s great!) Some posts may be less entertaining than others, but that’s just like life. Some days, you wonder why you even got out of bed.
A little about myself to start. My name is Kevin (Not of Reddit fame, thank goodness). I’m just an average, middle-aged guy. I work in Information Technology. Surprisingly enough, I like my job and my coworkers (for the most part) I live in New England, where lately it seems mother nature tortures us with glimpses of Spring, bounces back to Winter, and then decides that it’s time that Summer, with all it’s heat and humidity, should grace us with it’s presence. (By the way, it was snowing this morning. Total bull)
But you’re here for a blog, so lets get started:
Yup, it’s Monday. And oh, look, there’s yet ANOTHER user who’s managed to completely fudge up their password. Look, I know some of you like to party on the weekend. Maybe you’re enticed by your friends egging you on to have that 12th shot of Jager, or maybe your buddy decided that a late night out meant 11 a.m. the next morning. Or perhaps even your triplets kept you up the entire weekend. I’m not sure what happened, but you forgot your password when you came in today, and so you had to reset it. But, alas, in your rush to get going at work, you typed the password wrong (probably typing too fast) and thought to yourself ‘oh shit, why didn’t that work. I’ll reset my password again!’ And so you attempt to reset it again and forget that there’s a policy where YOU can’t reset it more than once every 24 hours. But undeterred by that fact, which you always seem to ignore no matter how many times you’ve been told, you try and reset your password… 12 more times!!!! And when your brain finally catches up, you realize you may have goofed and messaged the IT department.
Yup seems to happen every Monday.
